BIG BEAR DESTINATION WEDDING AT THE BEAUTIFUL SHAY MEADOWS RANCH AND RESORT

A gorgeous day for a gorgeous couple. The day started out with the bride and bridesmaids getting ready and having quite a few laughs. Erin was glowing as she had her hair and makeup done and sitting across from her mom while she was getting her hair done, you could see the emotions that they both were facing that day.

The bridal party was quite entertaining and I had so much fun capturing the moments that they will remember for a lifetime as they shared their good friends special day. The first look between Erin and her dad Mark was certainly a moment where tears were shed by all in the room.

And then there was the first look between Ryan and Erin and the love that was written all over their faces was such a joy to watch. The ceremony was under a beautiful blue sky and fresh crisp mountain air. Friends and family filled the ceremony site and then it was time for the I do’s. Erin was a beautiful bride as she walked down the aisle on the arm of her dad towards her groom.

A slight pause in the ceremony gave way for “selfies with the bride and groom”. What a terrific idea that was. The I do’s were exchanged and it was time to celebrate with dancing, toasting and a very fun night. From the venue to the dress to the flowers and the amazing food, this wedding was certainly one for the books.

Shay Meadows Ranch served as an absolutely beautiful venue for Ryan and Erin’s wedding. The amazing pine trees, the smell of mountain air, and the love in the air was fantastic. And it made for the most beautiful backdrop for the sweet ceremony.
